Today was a quiet day for me training wise, the new yoga class starting was on my to-do list. I’ve never done yoga before so this session was going to be interesting, now don’t get me wrong the benefits are great but all I could think of was sitting down humming and eventually falling asleep! Don’t judge me you thought the same once!
The instructor, Nikki Sharp seemed really down to earth and started the session off with some breathing techniques then we moved on to some stretches such as the child pose, the downward dog, the tree of life, the cat, the sunbird, the triangle pose & the standing bow pulling pose. The session was really relaxing and it was a good laugh especially when no one had any balance or co-ordination! Trying to balance whilst someone in front of you is hoping around is never a good start!
If anyone has any other moves that you think would be good for me to try as a complete beginner please let me know
it will be interesting to try them out before my next class
